We lost Çiğdem Aydın, one of the pioneers of the Turkish women's movement, who supported the works of the Marmara Group Foundation. Çiğdem Aydın, who took part in the establishment and formation of the Rightful Women's Platform together with the Marmara Group Foundation, served as the President of KADER for a while. 

Following the ceremony to be held at Akatlar Cultural Center at 10:00 on Monday, 8 November 2021, Çiğdem Aydın's funeral will be buried in the Nafi Baba Cemetery after the midday prayer at the Etiler Mosque. As the Marmara Group Foundation, we share the pain of her Family and Friends. 

The first Commemoration Ceremony for Çiğdem Aydın was held at the Akatlar Cultural Center. Member of the Board of Trustees Gülçin Güngören respresented the Marmara Group Foundation at the Commemoration and offered our condolences.

After the noon prayer in Etiler Mosque, Çiğdem Aydın was buried in the Family Cemetery. Lale Aytanç Nalbant was present at the funeral on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation. 

May God have mercy upon the soul of Çiğdem Aydın.
