The “Equality, Justice and Women’s Summit,” with Müjgan Suver also on the Organizing Committee, was announced to the public at a press conference held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at The Marmara Hotel. Civil society organizations focused on women’s struggle for equality and justice will come together at the “Equality, Justice and Women’s Summit” to be held on November 30 - December 1. Journalists, politicians, women activists, and academics will participate as speakers at the Summit. The Summit is open to "everyone who questions inequalities and injustices in Turkey and the world, demands democracy, thinks about human rights, law, and gender equality, produces policies and discourse, participates in the struggle for equality, including politicians, academics, media representatives, civil society volunteers and professionals, and who dream of changing and transforming together." The Organizing Committee of the Summit includes Müjgan Suver, Bertil Emrah Oder, Çiğdem Aydın, Emel Armutçu, Fatma Köse, Fatmagül Berktay, Gülseren Onanç (Curator), Hülya Gülbahar, Meral Tamer, Nuray Özbay, Sensiz Olmaz Team, Sevgi Uçan Çubukçu, Tijen Mergen, Yasemin Bektaş, and Zeynep Alemdar.
