Mujgan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation EU and Human Rights Platform, participated in the panel titled "Different Methods and Approaches in Women's Rights Advocacy" organized by the Democracy Auditors Association on March 5, 2016, as part of the International Women's Day events. Held at the Democracy Auditors Association building, the panel questioned the role of women in our society and hosted civil society representatives who struggle against issues related to awareness of women's rights and the exercise of these rights. Mujgan Suver provided information about the historical evolution of women's movements in Turkey, the Marmara Group Foundation, and the meetings held by the EU and Human Rights Platform to date aimed at strengthening the socio-cultural and socio-economic status of women in society.
