The Checks and Balances Network (CBN) Coordination Group, co-chaired by Müjgan Suver, President of the EU and Human Rights Platform, held the last meeting of the year on December 8-9, 2018, in Ankara. Proposals for structural changes to ensure compatibility between the Checks and Balances Network and its legal entity, the Democratic Participation Association, and the determination of the upcoming general assembly date were on the agenda. Coordination Group members, who convened at the Checks and Balances Network headquarters, exchanged views on the activities the Network will conduct in the upcoming period.
