The Coordination Group of the Checks and Balances Network, with which the Marmara Group Foundation has been actively collaborating since 2011, convened in Ankara on October 27-28, 2016. The meeting, attended by Müjgan Suver as the Judiciary Group Spokesperson, included discussions on current political developments and situation assessments. The future work program of the Network's components was evaluated. Duties and responsibilities were defined in terms of sustainability. As a result of the evaluations made during the meeting, it was decided that activities would henceforth be carried out under the Democratic Participation Association, which is among the Network components such as the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and Istanbul Policy Center (IPM).
