Prof. Dr. Turhan Ece, a member of the Marmara Group Foundation Board of Trustees, received a meaningful honour during the 14 March Medicine Day programme at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.

A medical specialisation thesis prepared by Dr. Gökhan Altan with the guidance and scientific direction of Prof. Dr. Ece was selected as the year's best thesis in internal medicine. The award was presented at the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Auditorium.

The achievement highlighted both the Faculty's strong academic tradition and the high-quality scientific work of a new generation of researchers.
