Peace and Diplomacy Education Programme Enters Its Second Year

The 29th Eurasian Economic Summit once again demonstrated that the Marmara Group Foundation is also a movement of young thinkers. Dr. Akkan Suver said that although several senior colleagues remained visible in the foreground, the Foundation drew its strength from young people.

The Foundation covered all programme expenses, and participating students received Peace and Diplomacy certificates at a ceremony following their training.

13:00–14:00 — Human-rights diplomacy for building social peace through global norms, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Itır Aladağ Görentaş, Kocaeli University.

14:15–15:15 — How effective are the European Union's diplomatic actions in securing world peace?, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pelin Sönmez, Kocaeli University.
