An information meeting was held for Avcilar Municipality officials and neighborhood heads as part of the Disaster-Resilient Cities Avcilar Project jointly conducted by the Marmara Group Foundation and Avcilar Municipality.

The event at Baris Manco Cultural Centre opened with remarks by Dr. Akkan Suver and continued with a speech by Acting Mayor Yuksel Can. Experts from AFAD, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Istanbul Technical University, professional organizations and the EU Istanbul Office delivered presentations.

Volunteers who had contributed to the project for a year received certificates. Acting Mayor Yuksel Can also presented certificates of appreciation to members of the Foundation team.
