The webinar "Digitalizing Disaster Awareness: Meet Resilient Avcilar" was successfully held on Microsoft Teams on 26 November 2025 as part of the Disaster-Resilient Cities - Avcilar Project jointly conducted by Avcilar Municipality and the Marmara Group Foundation.

The new Resilient Avcilar platform was introduced to strengthen disaster preparedness, improve civil-society capacity and bring community solidarity into the digital environment.

Participants learned about preparedness processes, educational materials, the events calendar, the community network and other digital tools. Those completing the training receive a certificate and a disaster preparedness kit.

The platform is expected to improve access to information and strengthen community resilience in Avcilar.
