Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, born in 1881, passed away at Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul on 10 November 1938.

A marshal, statesman, author, Commander-in-Chief of the Turkish War of Independence, founder and first President of the Republic of Turkiye, Ataturk built modern Turkiye.

He established a secular and industrializing country, transformed subjects into citizens and united the nation through comprehensive progressive reforms.
