Istanbul Governor Davut Gul and his wife Gulden Gul hosted a reception at the WOW Hotel to mark the Republic's 102nd anniversary.

Around 2,000 guests attended, including civil and military officials, foreign mission chiefs and religious leaders.

Dr. Akkan Suver, Mujgan Suver and Mahmut Sakli represented the Marmara Group Foundation.
