Poet and author Yavuz Bulent Bakiler has passed away.

Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver described him as an outstanding figure of contemporary Turkish literature whose eloquence, writing and intellectual vision would not be forgotten.

He conveyed his condolences to Bakiler's family and loved ones and wished him eternal peace.
