Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver and Secretary General Sezgin Bilgic attended a religious memorial ceremony in Bucharest for former Romanian President Ion Iliescu.

Dr. Suver spoke about President Iliescu's great friendship with Turkiye and the Foundation and offered his condolences.

Romanian MPs Ionut Vulpescu and Viktor Opaschi accompanied the delegation.
