Following the peace agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the United States, Dr. Akkan Suver told AZERTAC that the Washington accord represented a historic opportunity for peace, stability and prosperity in the Caucasus.

He congratulated President Ilham Aliyev for recording Azerbaijan's success on the battlefield at the peace table and opening a new chapter in history.

The Foundation also praised the United States for facilitating the mediation, emphasizing that serving peace means serving humanity.
