Turkiye celebrates the 105th anniversary of National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

On 23 April 1920, the Grand National Assembly opened and declared the sovereignty of the Turkish nation. Ataturk later dedicated the national holiday to all children.

The day reminds new generations of the proud pages of Turkish history and their responsibility to safeguard the Republic. Happy 23 April to our nation and all children.
