The International Peace Conference began its proceedings with opening speeches by Peng Qinghua, President of the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament, and Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations. Mustafa Ergin, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Marmara Group Foundation, also took the floor at the conference.

During the conference, Mustafa Ergin held meetings with participants, including former Prime Minister of Bulgaria Mariana Trenkova.
