Mr. Mustafa Ergin speaks to Chinese Media

Mr. Mustafa Ergin, a Board of Trustees member of the Marmara Group Foundation currently in the People's Republic of China, shared his impressions and views with the Chinese media.

The news report reads as follows: "An international delegation—comprising peace advocates and representatives from security think tanks hailing from the UK, Poland, Turkey, Portugal, Spain, Kyrgyzstan, Palestine, and other nations—recently visited the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province.

In this city, which once suffered the ravages of war and artillery fire, these international friends listened to the echoes of history, sensed the immense value of peace, and reinforced the power of moving forward together.

'Peace at home, peace in the world.'

These words, cited by Mr. Mustafa Ergin—a Board Member of Türkiye’s Marmara Foundation for Strategic and Social Research—originate from their great leader, H. E. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Mustafa Ergin stated:

'During our visit to Jiangsu, I felt that the people here are incredibly friendly. We learned about the history and grasped the true meaning of peace. We will pass this awareness on to our children and future generations.'"
