Dr. Akkan Suver was re-elected as the President of the Marmara Group Foundation.

The Ordinary General Assembly of the Marmara Group Foundation took place at Istanbul Commerce University.

The new board was determined following the elections held during the General Assembly, which was conducted under the leadership of a presiding committee chaired by Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu and comprising Attorney Aysel Yürür, Prof. Dr. Sedefhan Oğuz, Mr. Alaaddin Koçak, and Mr. Turan Sarıgülle.

The new board consists of Dr. Suver, Mr. Cafer Okray, Mr. Sezgin Bilgiç, Mme. Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Mr. Oğuzhan Ceylan, Mr. Ferit Sağ, Mme. Elif Arıkan, Mr. Mustafa Ergin, and Mr. Zafer Yılmaz.

Elected to the Marmara Group Foundation Supervisory Board were Prof. Dr. Özgür Çengel, Prof. Dr. Uğur Özgöker, and Prof. Dr. Figen Yıldırım. The Executive Board comprises Mme. Ümran Köksüz, Prof. Dr. Turhan Ece,Mr. Mahmut Saklı, Mme. Ece Şahin, Mr. Erol Altaş, Mme. Nispet Aşkın, Mr. Sertaç Demirezen,Mr. Kemal Şen, and Mr. Hakan Özdemir.

At the General Assembly, Mr. Mahmut Saklı was appointed Chair of the Executive Council for the 30th Eurasian Economic Summit—scheduled for next year—while Prof. Dr. Özgür Çengel became Chair of the Academic Council,Mme. Müjgan Suver became Chair of the EU and Human Rights Platform, and Attorney Serhat Tabanca became Chair of the Legal Affairs Platform
