EU and Human Rights Platform of The Marmara Group Foundation has made a 5-day study visit to Berlin, Germany within the framework of "Turkish Youth and Women for Democracy" Project.

Committee of the Marmara Group Foundation which consisted of Müjgan Suver, Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Nur Batur, Sevil Kulak, Demet Erdemir, Yasemin Kültür, Fatma Özbabacan, Lamiya Valiyeva, Ömer Yıldırım and project partners has made its first visit to Ambassador of Turkey to Berlin, Ali Kemal Aydin. The delegation got information about the lives of Turks in Germany and their participation in democratic processes from Ambassador Ali Kemal Aydın. The delegation presented information about "Turkish Youth and Women for Democracy" project of Marmara Group Foundation.

The Delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation, who also visited the German Bundestag and met with the Federal Deputies held separate meetings with Chairman of Turkish Union in Berlin Brandenburg Saffet Çınar, Europe Machen The Young European Federalists and Malte Steuber, President of Turkish-German Employers Association Remzi Kaplan.

Delegation of Project Implementation of the Marmara Group Foundation which has exchanged information on the education of young people and women throughout the Turkish community in Berlin and their participation in employment, economy and democratic processes, received information about the integration of Turks living in Berlin and the solution of their problems.

In the implementation of the project, cooperation planning and exchange of experience has been done. Members of Parliament from the Bundestag exchanged information about the participation of young people and women in democratic processes and delegation received information from their experiences. At the end of the visit, the delegation carried out a workshop and identified the reference points and roadmap to support the participation of young people and women in democratic processes with their stakeholders.
