On the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the passing of Rauf Denktaş and the 42nd anniversary of the death of Dr. Fazıl Küçük, a commemorative ceremony was held in front of the Rauf Denktaş Monument in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, organized by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Istanbul Consulate General.

The Marmara Group Foundation was represented at the ceremony by Executive Council Member Ferit Sağ. During the event, TRNC Istanbul Consul General Zalihe Mendeli delivered a speech highlighting the lives, leadership, and lasting legacy of Rauf Denktaş and Dr. Fazıl Küçük in the struggle of the Turkish Cypriot people.
