Medal for İlber Ortaylı

A Memento from Ortaylı to Akkan Suver The World Federation of Peace and Love (FOWPAL) (USA) had presented the medal and certificate prepared to be awarded to the late Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı at the 29th Eurasian Economic Summit to Dr. Akkan Suver. Dr. Akkan Suver presented the Medal and Certificate he had been entrusted with to Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı’s daughter, Mrs. Tuna Ortaylı. Following the presentation, Mrs. Tuna Ortaylı also gifted Dr. Akkan Suver the brass magnifying glass and letter opener that had belonged to her father, Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı. Dr. Akkan Suver expressed his gratitude for this valuable memento belonging to Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı that was presented to him and stated that he would donate this exceptional memento to the Akkan Suver Museum.
