The 2025 General Assembly of the Marmara Group Foundation was held. At the General Assembly, where Dr. Akkan Suver was re-elected as the President, the session was chaired by a Council Board consisting of Ertuğrul Kumcuoğlu, Prof. Dr. Sedefhan Oğuz, Prof. Dr. Akile Gürsoy, Prof. Dr. Turhan Ece, and Lawyer Turan Hançerli.

Following the approval of the previous term’s activities, the new Executive Council Members were elected as Dr. Akkan Suver, Cafer Okray, Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Sezgin Bilgiç, Serhat Tabanca, Oğuzhan Ceylan, Mahmut Saklı, Elif Arıkan Can, and Ferit Sağ.

The alternate members of the Executive Council were selected as Ümran Köksüz, Prof. Dr. Turhan Ece, Rahmi Dilek, Mustafa Ergin, Zafer Yılmaz, Ece Şahin, Kemal Erkan, Erol Altaş, and Nispet Aşkın.

The Audit Committee consisted of Ege Yiğitel, Engin Köklüçınar, and Turan Sarıgülle as full members, while Ali Sertar Eriş, Afet Özlem Süslüoğlu, and Doğancan Adıgüzel were selected as alternate members.

A unanimous decision was made during the General Assembly to express gratitude to Nobel Laureate Turkish Scientist Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar, who honored the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit with his presence.
