Akkan Suver Museum was opened
A Museum was opened on behalf of Prof. Dr. Akkan Suver at Adem Ceylan Vocational High School in Güzeller Organized Industrial Zone.
Dr. Akkan Suver, Adem Ceylan, Oğuzhan Ceylan, Ertuğrul Kumcuoğlu and Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu cut the ribbon together. Çayırova District Governor Ahmet Önal also attended the opening of the Akkan Suver Museum, where Marmara Group Foundation executives were present.
Since 1985, the gifts presented to Dr. Akkan Suver from abroad were exhibited. In the museum, Suleyman Demirel's fedora, the Cumhuriyet Newspaper of the day Atatürk passed away, Patriarch Bartholomew's Staff, Pope Benedictus' gift to Syriac Catholic Monsignor Yusuf Sağ, the Papal Crown, original gifts brought from Karabakh in Azerbaijan and souvenirs belonging to Ilham Aliyev are on display.
There are also robes and caftans gifted to Dr. Akkan Suver from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco and Afghanistan.
Numerous special items from Uzbekistan, People's Republic of China, Azerbaijan, TRNC, Mongolia, Montenegro and the Balkans were exhibited in the Museum, which also includes around a hundred special photographs.
