The name of Nobel Laureate Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar has been given to Mardin Airport by the decision of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

As the Marmara Group Foundation, we consider the naming of Mardin Airport after Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar, a distinguished member of the Turkish scientific community, as a great act of appreciation and recognition on behalf of Turkish civil society.
