Dongduk Women’s University in South Korea announced the establishment of the world’s first comprehensive graduate program in Turkic Studies, the “K-Silkroad Turkic Studies Department,” along with the undergraduate “Silkroad Korean Studies Program” within its International College.
This initiative, launched under the leadership of Korean Turkologist Prof. Dr. Eunkyung Oh, holds great significance as it connects Korea and the Turkic world through a new international education model.
