On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Peace Operation of the TRNC, TRNC Consul General in Istanbul Fatma Demirel organized a ceremony and laid a wreath at the Atatürk Monument.

Istanbul Deputy Governor Cengiz Karabulut, 1st Army Major General Hakan Tunç, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Head of Foreign Relations Department Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Mehmet Zahit Uzun representing Foreign Affairs and Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney were also present at the wreath laying ceremony.

Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver and Secretary General Sezgin Bilgiç also attended the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the Cyprus Peace Operation.
