Dr. Akkan Suver, who went to the city of Bar on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Bar City of Montenegro from German occupation, made a speech at the Victory Day ceremony held in the City Hall.
Dr. Akkan Suver, who went to Bar City together with Belgin Tanrıverdi and Erol Altaş from Marmara Group Foundation, was received by the Mayor of Bar Dusan Raicevic and the President of Bar City Council Branislav Bane Nenezic.

At the dinner given in honor of the delegation representing the Marmara Group Foundation in the Liberation Ceremonies of the City of Bar, the Diva of Montenegro, Aleksandra Radovic, was entertained with an exceptional concert.

As Marmara Group Foundation, we have always attached great importance to the city of Bar. Because the city of Bar, where different cultures and ethnicities live together, is a great center of civilization. Bar, which is a multicultural, multi-religious and multilingual city of civilization, constitutes a historical geography for Montenegro.

It would be incomplete to consider the city of Bar only as a maritime port, only as a tourism center.

Bar is a heroic memory of Montenegro's history. Turkish families living here are also the source of our love for Bar city.

And we know that there are Türkiye-Montenegro family ties on the line stretching from Bar to Türkiye.
