Poland’s Consul General in Istanbul, Miroslav Stawski, hosted the traditional New Year Concert—held as an annual tradition since 2008—on the evening of December 15 at the Saint Antoine Church.

At this year’s concert, traditionally organized by the Polish Consulate General at the end of each year, pianist Stanisław Łopuszyński and tenor Krzysztof Ciupiński-Świętek took the stage.

The concert was attended by a distinguished audience, including Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomeos, members of the clergy, foreign heads of mission serving in Istanbul, and other esteemed guests. Representing the Marmara Group Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver, Müjgan Suver, and Mahmut Saklı were also present.

Prof. Dr. Sema Kalaycıoğlu and Ersin Kalaycıoğlu came together after the concert with Avcılar Deputy Mayor Yüksel Can, his wife Müjgan Can, Akkan Suver, and Mahmut Saklı.
