The 99th Gazi Race Held

The Gazi Race, which has been organized without interruption for 99 years by the Jockey Club of Turkey, was held this year with an extraordinary crowd in attendance. The event began with the Turkish National Anthem and a parade.

The winner of the Gazi Race was a thoroughbred named Cutha, owned by Hulusi Çil and ridden by jockey Ahmet Çelik. The trophy was presented by the Governor of Istanbul, Davut Gül. The elegant outfits carefully chosen by women drew significant attention at the event. Dr. Akkan Suver, Müjgan Suver, and Mahmut Saklı represented the Marmara Group Foundation at the Gazi Race.
