Five years have passed since Azerbaijan’s glorious victory in Karabakh.

On the occasion of this Great Victory Day, Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, issued a message congratulating Azerbaijan.

Dr. Suver’s message reads as follows:
“Today we are celebrating not only Azerbaijan’s but also the entire Turkic World’s Great Victory Day.

Five years have passed since Azerbaijan, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, drove Armenia out of the territories it had occupied for nearly 30 years — a triumph that brought honor and glory not only to Azerbaijan’s history but also to the history of Turkdom.

On the anniversary of this Great Victory, we, as the Marmara Group Foundation, extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters through our civil society identity.

We remember with mercy our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Karabakh and wish health and happiness to our veterans.

On this fifth anniversary of the Great Victory, we take pride in our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters who have brought peace and stability to the Caucasus region and have once again made us feel the pride and joy of being ‘one nation, two states.’
