Akkan Suver's book After 80 years was published in Azerbaijan.

The book of Dr Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, titled "After 80 years" was published in Azerbaijan. On the occasion of the publication of the book, a magnificent presentation ceremony was held at the Atatürk Centre in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's MPs, diplomats, University Rectors, Academicians, Ufuk Turganer, Ambassador of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus were present at the ceremony, which started with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Nizami Caferov, President of the Atatürk Center in Azerbaijan, which published the book. After the speeches made about Dr Akkan Suver, the book presentation ceremony ended with the signing of his book.

Prof. Dr. Akkan Suver spoke at the 6th Baku Intercultural Dialogue Forum

In the 6th Baku Intercultural Dialogue Meeting held in Baku, Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver made a speech and revealed the importance of dialogue for peace. In the Intercultural Dialogue session moderated by Jahangir Salimkhanov from the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, besides Dr. Akkan Suver; Mutang Tagal, Speaker of the Malaysian Parliament, Nazlı Ahmedova from Azerbaijan, Mikhail Brygalov, Vadim Ruda, Zaslavsky Grigory Anatolyevich from the Russian Federation, Vadin Hihin from Belarus took the floor.

Visit to TRNC Baku Representative Ambassador Ufuk Turganer

The delegation of Marmara Group Foundation in Azerbaijan paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador Ufuk Turganer, the Baku Representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. During the visit, Dr. Akkan Suver, Belgin Tanrıverdi, Elif Arıkan Can and Abuzer Sarı shared their memories about TRNC with Ambassador Ufuk Turganer.

Within the framework of the 6th World Intercultural Dialogue Forum, the delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation consisting of Dr. Akkan Suver, Belgin Tanrıverdi, Elif Arıkan Can, and Abuzer Sarı, who are in Baku, was received by Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli. Former Minister of Culture, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Moscow Polad Bulbuloglu was also present at the reception.

Marmara Group Foundation participated in the Seminar on the Future of the EU and Turkey

Marmara Group Executive Council Members Oğuzhan Ceylan and Ümran Köksüz attended the seminar on "The Future of the EU and Turkey" organised by the Economic Development Foundation (IKV). IKV President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Turkish Ambassador to the EU Faruk Kaymakcı, IKV Secretary General Çiğdem Nas and COPFUTUREU Jean Monnet Module Coordinator Özgür Erler Bayır took the floor separately and gave information about the position of the European Union in the world, its future and its relations with Turkey. Oğuzhan Ceylan made a statement after the seminar: "The information and gains we have gained in this seminar are of great importance both for the activities of our foundation and for our understanding of Turkey's place in international relations in general. We look forward to sharing what we learnt and experienced in the seminar with a wider audience as Marmara Group Foundation."
