Leonardo Manzari to visit the Marmara Group Foundation

President of the E.I.E.A.D. (European Institute for EurAsian Dialogue), an Italian non-governmental organization, Mr. Leonardo Manzari made a study visit to the Marmara Group Foundation. They have agreed on ratifying a Memorandum of Understanding between the Marmara Foundation and E.I.E.A.D. (European Institute for EurAsian Dialogue) and Dr. Akkan Suver invited Mr. Leonardo Manzari to the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit. Also Cafer Okray took part at the meeting.

Visiting to H.R.H. Yusuf Çetin

A delegation from the Marmara Group Foundation consisting Dr. Akkan Suver, Mrs. Müjgan Suver and Mrs. Lale Aytanç Nalbant met with Mor Filiksinos Yusuf Çetin, the Patriarchal Vicar of the Syriac Orthodox Church and Deputy Patriarch in his office. During the visit, President Dr. Akkan Suver presented detailed information about the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit and they talked about the session "water and migration-water and religion" within the Summit.

Dr. Akkan Suver has been awarded with the Royal Merit Medal by H.R.H. Prince Radu of Romania

Dr. Akkan Suver has been awarded with the rank of the Officer of the Order of the Crown of Romania by H.R.H. Prince Radu of Romania at the Royal Palace. Following the biography of Dr. Akkan Suver in Romanian language, Ambassador H.E. Koray Ertaş told about him in Turkish. Then, the Medal has been handed over by H.R.H. Prince Radu. Prof.Dr. Enis Tulca also took part at the ceremony.

Getting in contact at the level of civil society in Bucharest, Dr. Akkan Suver paid a visit to Titu Maiorescu University. Dr. Akkan Suver was accepted by Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Smaranda Angheni and Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Valentin Cornelia ve Prof. Dr. Ioana Panc and they talked about the cooperation between University and Foundation. Dr. Suver also presented detailed information about the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit and invited them to the Summit.

Getting in contact at the level of civil society in Bucharest, Dr. Akkan Suver had a lunch with the executives of the Turkish Business People’s Association (TIAD). Ambassador H.E. Montenegro to be visited by the Marmara Foundation

A delegation from the Marmara Group Foundation attended the ceremonies held on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Bar Municipality. Invited by Mayor Dusan Raicevic, Executive Board Member Attorney Mr. Serhat Tabanca, accompanied by Mr. Mustafa Ergin, made a visit to Bar on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation. During two days visit, they extended their congratulations to newly elected Mayor for his new post. Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Montenegro H.E. Serhat Galip, Minister of Interior of Montenegro H.E. Jusuf Kalemperovic and lots of Executives took part in the ceremonies. Also a programme took place in order to commemorate the martyr and veteran citizens.

They used the opportunity to exchange their ideas on the activities to be organized both in Turkey and Mongolia on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the relationship of Turkey and Mongolia. Also a Mongolian Night which may be held in the 22ndEurasian Economic Summit has been proposed in the meeting.
