The Marmara Group Foundation visited Bakırköy Mayor Dr. Bülent Kerimoğlu and made an informational presentation within the framework of the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit. On January 11, 2018, Ali Riza Arslan was selected as the President of the Belarus business council elections of the council held at DEIK (Belarus Foreign Economic Relations Board), which is an important platform for business. The list of Ali Rıza Arslan, who was also elected as Vice-President of the Eurasian business councils at the same meeting, is composed of businessmen who have rational relations with the region.

TEKTAŞ AĞAOĞLU OF THE AZERBAIJAN AĞAOĞLUS DIED

Tektaş Ağaoğlu, grandson of one of Azerbaijan's famous statesmen, politicians and thinkers, "Ahmet Agayev" Ağaoğlu Ahmet, died on January 9, 2018. He was also the son of the Former Minister of the Democratic Party (1950-1960) Samet Ağaoğlu and one of Turkey's well-known translators and writers. Tektaş Ağaoğlu, known for his book about Politics and Philosophy that was compiled from Marks and Engels, enriched the Turkish language with the books of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Mikhail Sholohov and Erich Maria Remarque. Azerbaijan Consul General Mesim Hajiyev, Consul Yadullah Pashayev, Azertuc Istanbul Representative Sabir Shahtahti also participated in the funeral ceremony of Tektaş Ağaoglu. Marmara Group Foundation's President Dr. Akkan Suver visited the Macedonian Consul General Zerrin Abaz in her office in order to express his gratitude for the annual Macedonian high level participation at the Eurasian Economic Summit under the chairmanship of President Gjorge Ivanov as well as to provide new information regarding the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit to be held in April. During the visit, the agenda of the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit and the participation of Macedonia were discussed. Within the framework of the WINPEACE (Women's Initiative for Peace) evaluation studies, Müjgan Suver, Head of EU and Human Rights Platform of the Marmara Group Foundation, Zeynep Oral, Feriha Erfan, Şule Buçak, Nur Mardin ve Jennifer Sertel came together with Greek Prime Minister (2009-2011) George A. Papandreou. The talks focused on Winpeace 2018 program. Müjgan Suver invited George A. Papandreou to the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit.
