EU project seminars continue

The series of seminars organized by the Marmara Group Foundation on Turkish Youth and Women for Democracy within the framework of the EU project continued in the European Institute of Marmara University. Mete Çubukcu, the speaker of the seminar that encourage the participation of university students in the 18-29 age group in democratic processes, made a presentation on participation examples from our lives.

Visit to Jessy Yeunju Jang

Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, paid a courtesy visit to the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Istanbul, Jessy Yeunju Jang, as part of the promotional visits of 23rd Eurasian Economic Summit. During the visit, Dr. Akkan Suver presented information to the Korean Consul General Jessy Yeunju Jang about the Eurasian Economic Summits and requested support for the participation of Korea.

Mongolia's National and Armed Forces Day Reception was held

A reception was held in the capital on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Turkey together with the 95th anniversary of the Republic Day and Armed Forces Day hosted by Ambassador of Mongalia Mr. Bold Ravdan Minister of Culture and Tourism Ersoy, Deputy Minister of National Defense Alpaslan Kavaklıoğlu and Istanbul Deputy and Marmara Group Foundation Board of Trustees Member Şamil Ayrım and Marmara Group Foundation Deputy Chairman Ali Rıza Arslan, as well as many diplomatic mission representatives attended the reception. Reception, began with the playing of the national anthems of the two countries after Ambassador Radvan welcomed the guests at the door. Ambassador Ravdan stated that, although the official relations between the two countries were established 50 years ago, the historical and cultural ties and the friendship between the Mongol-Turkish peoples date back much earlier in his speech at the reception. Reminding that the friendly relations between Turkey and Mongolia signed the cooperation agreement of 1995, Ravdan underlined that the two countries have developed extensive partnership relations since 2004. Ravdan while pointing out that they aim to increase the trade volume between the two countries to 300 million dollars stated that "we have many opportunities and areas to achieve this goal. So last year we started to explore the possibilities of creating a Free Trade Agreement".

Condolences Message to Albanian People

Visit to László Keller
